Integrus Leadership - Change Management Part 1
This Integrus Leadership training explains that change management is the intentional process of moving people from a current state to a desired future state while helping them understand, accept, and adopt new behaviors, systems, and expectations. Using NASA’s Challenger and Columbia disasters as examples, the session highlights two common leadership failures during change: rushing to prove success too quickly and becoming complacent with familiar risks. The presentation emphasizes that successful change requires both a strong organizational structure (clear roles, ownership, and accountability) and a healthy culture (reinforced behaviors, trust, and leadership modeling) working in alignment. Ultimately, the message is that technology alone does not transform organizations—people do, and leaders must create clarity, consistency, and cultural support for change to succeed.
